Kensington (92116)

A small community with much to offer, Kensington is located just south of Mission Valley and Interstate 8. Considered a residential community, it is home to the Ken Theater, a city landmark that showcases independent films. A great place to antique shop, Kensington also plays host to an annual street fair celebrating the community.  Ponce's Mexican Restaurant is a community landmark and Bleu Boheme offers another great dining locale.  There is also a Burger Lounge on the Adams Avenue commercial district.  Homes along the canyon rim north of Adams are the premier locale along with West Talmadge loop at south end of Adams.

Normal Heights (92116)

Home of the Antique Row along Adams Avenue and great breakfast spot Antique Row Cafe, DiMille's Family Restaurant provides great Italian fare.  West Mountain View intersects Adams at both sides and takes one out to the canyon rim locales north of Adams that provide great Mission Valley Views.  Lestat's Coffee House is another icon along Adams Avenue.  An electic mix of old architecture and some fantastic canyon rim homes.

University Heights (92116)

Anchors the north end of the 92116 zip code and is framed in around the Park Blvd. commercial district that starts at the end of Adams Avenue.  There is a lovely community park and many nice canyon rim homes off Panorama Drive and along the northern tier overlooking 163 Freeway.  Lots of old architectural diversity with a thriving commercial district that include's the La Jolla Athenaum annex, Park House eatery and Buddhist Temple book store.
