Solana Beach (92075)
Primarily a family community, Solana Beach consists of approximately 13,000 residents in its four mile, incorporated city. Home of the Cedros Design District, great restaurants, and shops; Solana Beach is called home by many artisans, professionals, and high-tech businesses. The "Belly-Up Tavern" is a great nightlife club that brings in both local and famous talent. Plus parks, such as San Diequito Park, are fun places to hike and bring the family.
Fletcher Cove is the primary beach for the community at the end of Lomas Santa Fe Drive. At the beginning of each summer there is a great community party there known as "Fiesta del Sol." Blanca, Pacific Coast Bar and Grill, Pizza Port and Nobu all offer good food and Solana Beach is a short drive down to the Village of Del Mar and ocean front restaurants of Cardiff-by-the-Sea as well. One of the county's best Mexican restaurants, Fidel's, is at the SE border of Solana Beach and Del Mar, a bit north of the Fish Market on Via de la Valle.
Olde Solana Beach has some wonderful ocean and lagoon views from atop the hill and the ocean front south of Fletcher Cove has several great condominium communities, whereas to the north are the ocean front homes of Pacifica Avenue and another beach stairwell access.
